experience or dream?
Few nights a go, I "experienced" a very rare and enriching "dream".
People who knew me a bit more would realize that I'm not so interested in die young, not that I haven't lived long enough nor done good enough, it's just that, death is a mistery to me and "experiencing" something mysterius always left me thrilled. If die young is one thing, dying in an aircrash is another. Given the frequeny of flyinig I've got, there's no wonder if I might have a high blood pressure.
Let's go back the night I mentioned earlier. It was an unquiet night. I was tired, just got back from the island of Sumatera (then, through surface transport, not an air one, thankfully) and the air was windy and cloudy, maybe rain was waiting to pour.
I was in an aeroplane, familiar faces were accompanying me, I can't recall even one of them. The air was a clear blue sky, people were minding their own business when, all of a sudden, without any notice from the cockpit crew whatsoever, the plane was plummetting. It was nosing-down along with a sound that you usually heard from a war film, you know, when a plane is going down with full speed. I could clearly see the cloud outside moved very fast upward (that's a relative movement, as we were going downward) and I finally could make out a brown color of dirt up ahead. And, that was it.
In a split second all were frozen. I felt nothing but a bit of cold. No pain, no screams, no fire, no noise, nothing, just a chill. I could see the plane below, shattered to pieces. The sky looked unusually brighter, I felt very light. Light like a cloud, and indeed, I was floating. Up.. up... and I started to panic, where the hey I was heading to, hey... hey... .
I tried to scream, and instead of screaming, I was awaken from my sleep, sweating a bit, cold. My wife was also awake, apparently surprised by my sudden move. I blurted my "dream" out and she hold me thight. "No, don't leave me" she said.
